Tim is a lousy photographer, I'll say that. We commissioned the perch shown on his website as a remembrance of Gus' first fish and it looks nothing like the photos - it absolutely is 1000 times cooler. The watercolors absolutely glow, I'm no artist, but the depth and glow of the layers of paint are amazing. We don't have it framed yet and it is sitting on a shelf, standing because it is a little curled from the shipping tube and I marvel at it every day.
I think I had it in hand 3 weeks after I asked him if he would like to try to do it. He sent a sketch as a proposal and painted it once we said we were happy. He needs a better camera and maybe a beret, but wow. We are having him do one of Gus' first saltwater fish as well.
