We are facing a big restriction in access for us in KY from the standpoint of hunting and fishing near our dams maintained by Corps of Engineers. They are wanting to restrict access nears the dams for safety issues. While I do not disagree with safety issues, you can not legislate common sense. This will have a BIG impact on areas where we bowfish and also waterfowl hunt. I would appreciate members of the forum to consider signing the petition. We are waaaaaaaay short of signatures. I realize this won't affect you in your neck of the woods, but it would help us in western KY.

This will eventually affect all waters maintained by the Corps of Engineers and also will set a precedent for other waters as well.

Thus it affects us all. Thanks for the heads up.

Do you have info or a link to the proposed restrictions?

I signed the petition but for years bouyline barriers have been in place on many pools on the Mississippi River even in my area. I wish you luck with the fight.
 
Done. If this regulation is allowed to stand, it will be only a matter of time before it is applied to other systems. We will lose more fishing and hunting access, and that is never a good thing.
 
I signed the petition which seems appropriate, but the other proposals that came up where concerning, especially about supporting Obama's gun control. Anyone else get this to pop up? Makes one wonder about the nature of this site.
 
i signed and got popup hope its not a trick i will say i know steve mc for many years and he would never support the pop ups
 
I signed and passed it along to a few friends. Hope we get this stopped. I love fishing the tailwaters. These regulations would prohibit us access to several of our favorite spots.

I signed and now I am getting non stop emails from change.org. There is no way to unsubscribe and they say I have to change my email setting to stop getting stuff from them. Don't sign this unless you want constant spam like 5- 10 messages/day. Wish I would never have signed it. Just passing along.

Just unsubscribe to the next email you get - that's what I did. Apparently this is a site for the collection of a bunch of petitions.
 
Car's running great though I've had a reduction in mpg since it has gotten gold. No more 50 mpg till spring I guess. I'm surprised, being as light as it is, how good it handles ice and snow.

Regarding the spam, go down to the bottom of the next one and click on 'unsubscribe'. A new window will open where you type in your email address and voila no more spam.
