My bench once again looks like someone dusted it with bee pollen. I'm creating some duck call turning stock from limbs that were left over from the Osage Orange logs we milled several years ago. I had an old Powermatic table saw fence I've been meaning to put on my bandsaw. I got to it this weekend and man I don't know what took me so long. It really makes breaking down logs a lot simpler.

It is. I just put a fence on it and wish I hade done that years ago. It will definitely be getting a lot more use now.

Interesting design on the bat house. Is that eastern red cedar? I love the smell and look but that sawdust really makes me react.

I have been feverishly preparing for a weekend indoors due to cold weather. My workshop is not insulated and is barely heated. But I can paint in my basement.

Afriend gave me a piece of osage to carve him a duck. I hit it with the foredom a few times and placed it on the wood shelf to rest for a while.

if you use a foredom on osage make sure you use a respirator
