Wow-- appropriate name! That's a big dog, he doesn't even need snow shoes. When it snowed 2 feet out here, Chance looked at me kind of gave me the expression "I ain't shoveling" He eventually warmed up to the snow with my kids throwing snowballs and he's trying to find them.

Phil,
A good friend of mine has three Chessies and he runs them with a dog sled vest on pulling him on X-country skis. Last weekend he had the female pull him down my lake 3 miles. That was after she pulled the ice shacks in and out onto the lake. Good way to keep them in shape. You boy looks like he could pull a house!
We hit around 100" snow fall so far here. That's a bit light for us. How much have you guys gotten?

We have had over 55"... But over Christmas, we got rain instead of snow... and it is 34 degrees right now.... The snow has compressed to around 20" on the ground. Where the wind hasn't blown the snow .... that is...
