Jim, your spread shows up good from a distance. I like the 2 Swans.... Hope you guys are having a good season so far. It has been slow down where I live, maybe that will change in the next few days......

Chuck the Swan decoys worked great!

That photo was taken right after I had dropped a beautiful Greater Bluebill Drake which was also the last bird of my limit for the day (the reason I'm not shooting at the other birds in range).

Thanks again!

Tim

And to think, those are from my "small swan" pattern.

Thanks, and glad they are working out,

Chuck

Well....water was like glass the first day but it didn't stop us from shooting our birds.....

Tom Modin your bluebill has been riding proud!

Thanks for the additional background Chuck....of course it now begs the question as to why my feeder doesn't have a neck collar?

Trick question...because if it did I may not be able to keep Jim from dropping the hammer on it : )

Maybe the neck collar was a high dollar optional upgrade and Chuck knew you where too cheap to spring for it?

To all you carvers that are in the Speight/Williams Rig, Tom Modin, Burel Goodin, Len Suzor, Ron Snow, John Denker, Chuck Jagger, Bill Moore, Bill Hancock, Jim Williams, Tim Speight, Tim McEntire, your decoys look awesome and, suck the divers right in! Also, Dave Luddington, the 5 Dwarfs looked awesome! I kept wanting to pop one thinking it was a real bill. Can't wait to see the other two...

Chuck - The swans are a testimony to a true confidence decoy. They made a difference...

Kudos to all you guys and your decoy carving skills... Pat

Not well. The birds sat. If they did fly, you couldn't see them. It was a good exercise for using technology. We used a GPS and, what a blessing!

Picked up around noon and went home.

Did you hunt?

Hunted till noon, it was an interesting experience listening to thousands of birds all around but only seeing them for 5 second as they buzzed the decoys. Divers sure do make some interesting noises when they think they are alone.
had to go home when the gps batteries got low.

Thank you for the close up of the rig I am happy my bird is getting gunned over in such a nice rig. One other bird gets big water rigged on Pamlico Sound in NC by one of my good friends.

Because I really like monochromatic painting.
