You know you've been gone a long time when there's 17,000 new post since you last logged in...

Things are great and I look forward to getting back in touch with old friends. Looks like there's some new faces too. Not much has changed, people are still hunting hard and enjoying the outdoors, which is what I like to see.

Thanks, Pete.

College happened to me. I last logged on in 2007, right before I finished high school. Man, how time flies! I went to college on the confluence of the Missouri, Mississippi, and Illinois rivers, and didn't shoot once at a duck. However, instead of beer and girls I majored in bowhunting and mushroom hunting (the legal kind) College was the best 4 years of my life so far, and I learned a lot as a Biology major. I live in St. Louis now, and teach Biology at the high school I grew up going to. Kind of funny how that stuff works, but I'm grateful to be employed, have a car, and a shotgun. Now I need to find time and a place to hunt!

I'm looking forward to getting back in touch with everyone, learning more about duck hunting, building my own layout boat, and then shooting some birds!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Only 17,000 new posts since 2007?

This site will never make it as a viable internet presence. Thank the Lord for that.
