Looking out my office window the other morning...sort of...

First light:

I was about 30 feet away when I snaped this picture. These three were closest, there were at least 2 more out there.

Checked back again just before 'quitting time':

This was less than 20 feet away. After I walked away I could see more walking up, a couple of the toms were getting cocky, displaying their full fan of tailfeathers. The ground just outside never freezes solid, and there is always fresh green grass growing there.
