You know I like that pose! Beautiful bird. How long from bow to stern?

Don't want to steal pat's thread, but here are some pics from my "how to" file that show the insertion of a dowel to support a "caller" type head. I always lock mine through the bottom board.
On a bird like this it's often necessary to install a counterweight to get it to float properly.
