nice video -thanks for sharing it.
I have been on the Buffy war path lately - and they have been winning.Today I was setup about 60 yards off the Buffy Auto-Bahn, they sped by with their after-burners on. 10 minutes after quitting time, 3 landed in my spread and then slowly swam away as I picked up my dekes....I think one was sticking out his little tongue at me! Oh well.

Dave,

That video sure reminded me of last years hunt. Makes me want to come for a return visit. Sure looks like Gordy was having fun. Nice dog you got there. One thing about a 95lb dog being a "lap dog", takes a guy your size to provide the lap. hehe

Thanks for sharing.

hasn't been gangbusters here either -- buffies finally starting to show up and last weekend did get a fair number of blue's, ruddy's and redheads -- but onesies, twosies -- no big flocks -- deer hunting starts sattiday and its supposed to be mid 40's -- if it ever gets cold the ducks may finally show up -- good part is canadian season runs until 1-15-09 so we'll get to hunt the river near home -- always fantastic once the inland ices up

Wed was a lil slower, Rain for the 1st 2 hours smart us took 2 umbrellas since my rig is TOPLESS (real huntin) to keep mostly dry inbetween
the couple of birds. Rain quit a few moved around managed 10 birds by 11am. Decided to start packin up, I left my gun loaded and in the holder
about 1 minute into packin up here comes one from the right blap splash gordy launches into the river. Then from the left here comes #12 I swing on it and sploosh drop that one. Gordy swims past that one and goes for the far one. On the way back he picks up the close one also... DAMMIT my camera was already packed up and in the bag in the other bag and under stuff..... ARGH oh well was great to see.

Headed back out tomorrow takin a newbie with us to duckin see if we can spark this 19 year old into the DARK PATH of duck hunting :) I hope
to have some more pics tomorrow. With a 2nd gun in the boat will free me up a bit.
