Medical update- NDR, well maybe a little

Great news Tom. Glad to hear that things are working out.

To make it a little more duck related, Dr. Don Thomas and his wife, who invented the bone marrow transplant procedure for leukemia were avid duck hunters and Nobel Laureate. Their son is also a doctor, accomplished angler and hunter and an outdoor writer. While it wasn't stem cells like your treatment, I'd be willing bet the procedure built upon Dr. Thomas' procedures.

Tom,
May God bless your continued recovery and your ability to experience next season in the marsh and not the hospital.

Thanks so much for the update and the good news. I look forward to the report where you say 100 days has passed, I gained 40 lbs, got my hair back, got my strength, and am ready to hunt!

Keeping the good juju coming so that you keep getting better

Tom,

Great to hear you are back home and doing well, I just got back from home visiting with my folks. My dad is doing well all things considered, he was in the 2% that had a side effect and is currently sporting a stoma bag as a result and has had his first of his new Chemo treatments this last week. I was amazed at how well he is getting around given everything he has been through this year. He is also making plans for Duck opener next season as he missed the season this year.

Keep up the good fight and have a great Christmas and may the New Year be one to remember for all the right reasons.

Andrew
