Bob Sorry for not being around much ,its due to a few reasons ,one was that i hunted the whole whitetail season except for 2 days,,, Why? you may ask not go ducking ? well my Daisy gurl has displasya [Spelling] one side is affected and it has ripped my heart out ever time i headed out to duck hunt without her when she was bad.So i went deer hunting and stayed at the camp..She was so upset a few times she went and tore apart the compost bagies.
She never ever did this before...only when i left with the duckin gear without her..

I had a few guys from up this way find my honey holes thru the pics i posted....now there is no birds there over shooting it..just dumb for showing good pics is all leason learned..

But another reason was the powers that be that pay me took away the internet due to another chap at work realy abusing the internet...so one bad apple does it again...

I also went and took a few summer courses at UPEI to make myself more wanted in the job market as im retiring in a few years ,and i want to keep working but in another aspect of field of expertise...lol thus ive been doing work experiance every fall and winter ,plus working my reg job..whew!!

When its all said and done I have 4 differant papers to hang on a wall...

I realy miss talking with everyone from time to time ,A feeling of being apart of something is a good feeling when you need your spirits lifted,read a story or look at differant pics from all over the world and travel thru these all by sitting in a chair at home...thanks guys...

Ill try and stop by now im on vacation for Christmas,,
I just went out and built a blind on the bay in hopes of the weather cooperating for me in the next few days...

As the count goes i think we are at 30 plus ducks and 12 geese... 2 partridges and my buddy shot the big buck the one day i wasnt there 13pt 200lbs

its been good but i missed my buddy with me ....

that is very tough news about Daisy and your spots.
Keep your head up and sneak in a few short trips to get the feeling back when the cold weather gets here.

Merry Christmas Shermie, sorry to hear about your hunting buddy, dont feel bad about no getting out, it really wasnt much of a season over here on the southshore as of yet, hopefully the cold will move in, I didn get a black duck yet this season....
 
Shermie, First, Sorry to hear about Daisy but it sure sounds like she has an understanding dad. My Walker had it bad but he hunted for 4 years before the cancer caught up with him. Merry Christmas to you and yours, give that dog a hug and a treat.

Would you please get out there and send some birds south before my season closes on Sat?

I am insanely jealous--you get to shoot more than a single black duck AND your season stays open after Christmas.

If Nova Scotia wasn't full of loyalists we kicked out of Maine during the revolution, I'd be tempted to move east. (Just kidding--my ancestors were still in Ireland, England and Germany at that point. LOL.)
 
Sorry to hear about Daisy. It is real hard to go out without your hunting pal. Have you tried giving her anything for it?

Thanks guys , i was blown away this am when i checked my emails and there was all these notices in there from your posts..
well i took Daisy out yesterday it was 10 degreesC and we scratched up 3 blacks should of had a few more but thats hunting and we had a few laughs,,she was sore by the time we got home ,i gave her a hot bath to give her some tlc and a big supper and a treat...

Jeff i tried my best to send ya a few more... but unless it freezes up the fresh water im afeared there not leaving anytime soon...our limit is 4 blacks and there usualy red legs this time of year...big ones ....the one i took and plucked for a change had only 1 pin feather and a 1/4 inch of fat on him everywhere.. im giving that one to mum and dad for christmas present..
