Minnesota Rice Skiff

that is a Shell lake mallard queen in real nice shape . Decks looks to be canvas and seat is original. It is not exactly a rice harvesting skiff but could have been used for that purpose.

I'm with Bob, that one is in nice shape. Somebody stored it out of the elements over the course of its life. I hope whoever buys it continues to preserve it and maybe even put it on display.

I believe this is from the estate of Dennis Hayes.

He took real good care of all of his stuff! If it was closer, I would certainly be there in a heartbeat

You may very well be correct. Do you know if this boat was auctioned off with the rest of his things? $650 seems very reasonable. I hope it lands in good hands.

I don't believe it was in the auction.

I had someone reach out to me about it a week ago. I believe his wife is trying to sell it.

that is a very reasonable price for that boat in the condition it looks to be in, pending what a wise buyer would see in person re. canvas and bigger bones. We didn't see Shell Lakes in decent condition come u often when i was u that way
