More dekes!

Well, since I had Christmas vacation time, Rutger's Institute time, and time without the kids and wife, I've finished 3 more GE's! Seeing all of the great craftsmen on this site crank out boats and decoys has got me turning off the TV and working in the shop. These dekes have pine tail boards, basswood heads, and tan cork bodies. All are painted in Jansens. I can't wait to hunt these bad boys next season...only 8 months to go;)

Hey Chuck, eat your heart out, hehehehe.

Dave really impressive blocks. All around the paint is exceptional but the heads really pop with the green highlights.
Nice job!

Dave,
Awsome paint job. How do you keep those from getting scuffed going out to hunt? This is motiviating me to assemble and paint the 3 E. Allen "Giant" GE that have been living in my shed for the last few years.

Take care!

Whoa Baby! Are those what you were working on before New Year's? Awesome!! You really rocked if those are the same bodies. Great paint job Dave. Forget Chuck J., I'm eating my heart out!!

Best,
Brian F.

Those birds look great Dave!! I can't believe you finished them already. Now I'm going to have to give you crap about something other than being so slow. Ready to make a trade?

Dave! You CRANKED those things out and they look great! I'm just about there with my last GE, the swimming drake. You going to Pauly's Thursday?

Now I'm going to have to give you crap about something other than being so slow.

Four deeks in two years...you can keep giving him crap for now!

You going to Pauly's Thursday?

THURSDAY??? What, is that the secret night that you guys meet without the wit and wisdom of VanderVeen and myself?
