My Bankes Intruder Sneakboat Blind Build

Working on my Cockpit cover. I was going to put doors. No way to have doors when they were open inside the edge of the boat. From time to time I hunt timber. You DONT want anything sticking out side the edge of your boat running brush. I ended up using strap buckles. Turns out this works perfect. I can open one side or the other. I can take the cover off if I want.

Rob

That reminds me of another question I had............

Do you ever have troubles with the camo covering getting hooked on brush, limbs, etc.?

This will be the Last Photos of My Bankes Intruder Sneakboat blind build. All I have left is the motor cover. As with all camo nets Ive ever used, I stuck the net over the outboard and almost could not get it off. Camo net hooks to everything. I will sew up a Cordura cover and then add camo net to that. Should slip on and off with NO problem. Now the Boat goes to the Trailer Builder. Im having a Custom built trailer to just fit the boat. Then to Linex instead of paint. Then to the lake to try this rig out on the water. Hope to be done by the end of June.

Rob,
Oh come on just one more picture-opening day with a bird on the bow? Great thread-very good simple solutions to dressing out your boat.

What kind of Linex are you going to use? Was that Linex on the trailer or the bottom of the boat?

Rob

You can't just stop now!! We need pics of the boat in action!! I have really enjoyed your thread and it has been extremely informative. I appreciate your time posting all of this and answering the questions. I hope that I can soon return the favor. Heck, I am damn excited thinking about you getting the boat out on the water and hunting - WE WANT MORE PICS!!

Thanks so much!!

Linex will be on the trailer frame only. Olive Drab linex with black wheels, bunk boards and winch. Going to have the trailer match the boat.

Well, young man, you did a fantastic job on that project. You have so much to be proud of. Congratulations, Rob.
As has already been mentioned I, too, think that there should be a picture of the boat/trailer/loaded down with all your gear/and hooked up to your truck. And then at least a half dozen shots with ducks draped all over it. And then-----
