Need some heavy prayers

thanks you all for your prayers. They did the trick and Jim Jr had successful surgery. The surgeon was pleased with his work and that is a good sign. Jim was up walking shortly after returning from recovery and I'm sure thanks you all.

Jim, great news! God is Great!!! Will continue to keep Jim in my prayers for strength, recovery, and comfort.
 
I'm still keeping him and you in my thoughts but that is GREAT to hear Jim!
 
Thanks everyone. I can't begin to explain how your prayers and support help. My fellow duck hunters are certainly a special breed. Surgery was Thursday and I made it home Friday the 13th. Who said it's an unlucky day?! We waited until Thursday so I could hunt the Mississippi River with friends and take in Dad's ceremony on the 10th. The doctor understood how important both events were to me. Good man. If we don't freeze up I may be able to sneak in a hunt toward the end of the season. He wasn't thrilled when I asked how soon I could shoot a shotgun. I guess I'll count my blessings and move on. Thanks to all. Jim
 
Amazing, you do have a good doc, they all are not that understanding. I do know a couple and they are far between. Keep on healing now and get ready for next year.
