New,do everything Dog

Joe,

That's incredible. I'd much rather have a robot that could pack out an elk for me or haul decoys when I'm old and farther over the hill then I am rather than that butler thing the Japanese has been prancing around about. Probably nothing that will ever hit the civilian market but sure is nice to dream about.

It is creepy though.

Take care, Ed L.

Ed,

When you consider what that thing would cost you to buy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well for the same money I'm betting you could get some young sweet lass to accompany you on any hunting trip you want. Easier on the eyes too!

Man, that is almost scary. Think about it. Hook up to any old computer connection and start taking over. Where is Sarah Conner when you need her?

Dave,

I can't disagree with you but somehow I don't think discussing money in my hunting fund for a lady packer would be in my best interest...AND I sure hope my wife doesn't find out I even replied to this post!...hehe

Take care,

Ed L.

That is cool. Now all it needs is two arms. It could chain saw all my wood and stack it. Drape some blaze orange on it and take it hunting." Say robot hand me my gun. I see a deer." Ahh the future. Water proof it, teach it to swim. No more dog food, no more house training. "Say robot bring me a cold one" etc.

Even though that mechanical dog is awsom,it's the accessories that cost ya.Jet pump drive, capable of 20kts-$2400.Claws on inside of each front leg,to retrieve birds, and place in back pack,$1865.Heat sensors to find birds before they freeze,$6800,and Ultra sensitive scent detector w/100yd range $24,500.Added to the $325,000 cost of the basic dog,and it adds up pretty fast.Almost as much as owning these DNA of the wolf, we all have.We would probably miss the farts, next to our chair ;^)
