New...Old Member reintroduction

It has been a few years since I've actively been around duckboats.net and thought I'd drop in and say hello. I haven't waterfowl hunted in two years and have recently been rebitten by the bug. A big reason for my layoff was the failing health of my Chesapeake who is suffering from a condition known as degenerative myelopathy. Through the help of a wheelchair I was able to get her out on a dozen hunts this year and even managed a few birds:

In my waterfowling abscence I have developed an obsessions for chasing the prairie grouse with my English Setters and have also taken up photography and thought I'd share a few photos from the last year:

Thought I'd stop by and say hello and possibly catch up with some of you I haven't talked to in years.

Thanks,
Joe

Joe,

Been keeping up with you through the "Gun Dog Doc" mailings that I still get. Neat pics. A good digital SLR, like a faithful dog, has added a new dimension to the days we get to spend chasing birds. My camera bag is a part of the equipment list now.

Hi Joe,

Glad to see you back here again, been a while. So sorry to hear of Emma's health problems. Looks like you are making the best of it though. I hope you stick around for a while.

Best,

Pete

Joe......!!! Glad to see your still kickin'. I was just thinking the other day that we hadn't talked in a good while. I've still got two phone numbers of your in my cell phone, are the still the same? WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER NEXT SEASON AND HUNT!!!

Great pictures by the way,

Jeff

I missed trading e-mails with you last summer talking about the possibility of coming East for Squaretails....that still remains my "top of the list" "must do's".......

Good to see the regeneration of interest in Duck hunting as well.....hopefully you won't be such a stranger in the coming months.

Steve
