Gary,
it is a right of spring here when they show up.. But the ones here have three gulls that wait till they pick something up and then follow them home to help eat it.
Those shots are very well done.

Man I have a hard time skinning on with my rapala fillet knife. If that bird can do it with just his beak then more power to him.

Beautiful shots Gary!! I especially like the way the light shines through the wings on the first shot. Thanks for posting.

Simply wonderful photographs. Thanks. Though we have both Osprey and Bald Eagles her in MA, I have never witnessed that sequence of events. Thanks again.

Nice pics.
The osprey here stay year-round.
Its great fun to watch them pick off mullet while duck hunting.
Our resident birds are already nesting.

WOW! Just getting a photo of an Osprey is something special but to get a whole sequence of one getting a catfish is remarkable! Osprey are one of my favorite birds of prey. Very highly specialized for their work.

Gary,
great pics we have an osprey that fishes our ponds every april for about 2 weeks before he moves on. Last week he caught a large bluegill. We have had so much rain all the ponds are stained cutting down on visibility ,haven't seen him for a few days. Really neat to watch them fish. Thanks for posting.
Bill.
