I finished this up around Christmas time. I have a few more waiting for paint, but it really needs to warm up before I can do that. This is hollow cedar and oil paint. I had to carve a few heads before I could get one that looked right to me on this decoy. It will reside in my rig this coming season until Harker shoots it to pieces.

Hey I like it...I love the lines...if you don't think he'll sit well enough in your decoys, feel free to send him south to me...I can assure you that he'll go quite nicely with my little rig of wood, corkers and frond decoys...he'll have great company...

Very nice job on the shape of the bird. I am sure it was a challenge to get the head to work.
