Pride and joy... (NDR)

Our youngest, Sarah is in culinary school in Chicago studying to become a pastry chef. Yesterday, she had a final exam in one of her classes where they got to invite family to enjoy some of their fare. For one hour, Nancy, my sister and I, along with many other family members, had to endure this torture for one hour. Sarah passed in good standing. Dang was that good! Needless to say, Nancy and I are extremely proud of her...

Yep, thats some tough homework right there!
She has chosen her career well, people are always hungry!

Pat,

Congratulations to your daughter in successfully pursuing her dream. I think you know my son did the chef program up here. I know from experience that it doesn't hurt to be family. LOL He cooks a fantastic wild duck.

Pat,
I love seeing your pictures of the family history with the carving tradition, but this is over the top. A family pastry expert with pictures is making me hungry in a big way. I hope you ate a bunch of those because they sure look good. Holidays at your place are going to be a filling experience.

Very nice.

Bob

Pat,
You should certainly be proud! It's a good thing you're so fit or that kind of torture could really catch up to you.

What an honor to experience that. Congratulate your sister for me. Thanks for taking the time to tell us that, Pat.
