Ditto what C & T said. Looks like it popped out of a mold.

Is that the gas tank filler in the area before the bow? How did you mount the gas tank under the deck?

awesome job, many a feather will litter the bottom of that fine bateau,,

what ya name her?or it??

Gosh that is one nicely laid out rig. Everything appears easy to get to and basically tangle resistant.

Pretty Work !

I knew that it looked like artwork when I saw it laying upsidedown. It looks terrific!

You've a terrific looking craft there. Now get it out and report on the sea trials!

Great looking boat, John.

How are the seats mounted? Are they on moveable boxes, or are they fixed?

Rick

The seats are mounted on moveable boxes that I made to fit in a DW15 that a friend had. They are getting worn out and are to tall for this boat so I will be making two new boxes a couple inches shorter. I will probably epoxy and glass them together stitch and glue method in order to keep them lighter. They are made of luan sides and bottom with half inch top and hatch for storage and seat support.

John

Very nice work. Do you have any pics of the motor well mods you made? You may have taken your time getting the project done but the results speak for themselves.

Eric

Where on the River you hunting, John?

I've come through Union many a morning on my way to the Ohio on old 42.

Eric, I will be removing the motor prior to permanently mounting and i will take pictures then. I put the motorwell ahead of the designed transome to prevent backwash as well as to provide an area for the battery and wiring. This is also and area for a fused switch panel for the main power, spot light, anchor light, running lights, LED cabin lights and builge pump. The front of the area well extends to the sides providing one end of the gun rack. I think I'll just have to come to Alabama to show you and do a little duck chasing southern style, i.e. no ice.

Bob, I'm mostly hunting in the Markland Pool below Cincinnati. However, I occassionally hunt above in Meldahl or below in the Carrolton Pool.
