You seem to harbor resentment towards several members here. I've seen it in this thread and others as well. Fatty insults? Really? I read through this thread and yes Chuck added his critical thoughts and Farrukh took them in stride and offered counter points. In my opinion your dislike (that predates this thread) of him and others got in the way of what might have been a healthy discourse in several areas of waterfowling and shotgunning. But instead you turned it into a Refugesue insultfest. Happy?

Word to the wise, if you put pictures, video, etc. on this site, and many others like it, you open yourself up to criticism. It might be someone giving you a hard time for outside reasons, or it might be an opportunity to learn something through a little debate. Nothing wrong with the latter which is where I thought this thread might go until you started taking shots.


Just what is it with the New Jersey crowd? Damn, I've never seen so much controversy, fighting, and dislike from any single geographic region. Crap has been going on for years. Someone explain it to me. Sure does seem to be a lot of pissed off duck hunters from New Jersey. I've got to know some wonderful people from New Jersey, but there is some real attitude that comes out of that place too. Maybe that "in your face" insult stuff works there. Where I grew up all it does is make people want to avoid you.


Eric, I have a lot of respect for you and appreciate how you created and managing this wonderful site for years, but I would like to answer your criticism towards NJ crowd and you potentially taking sides, which in my opinion you should not.Look at Chuck's first post, I not only took his criticism of me calling it a perfect double but also agreed that he's right and then politely explained why I use this reflex sight and kept trying to explain politely in subsequent posts but his answers were always bitter, making analogies between sight and homosexuality, insinuating that I'm lacking common sense and logic, what do you call that?? But then things turned away from the sight and somehow got directly aimed at me. I didn't reply in his manner as I believe these things should be said in someone's face and not while hiding behind a computer screen.personnel attack just because I use a different equipment?? Tod which I believe is a great outdoorsman was supporting Chuck as he know him personally, the same way Scott know me personally too, we've been hunting together for a while too.Where were you when Chuck was drawing a funny looking horse with rainbow coming out of his behind and making statements about me while he doesn't know me a little bit?? I could've easily photo shopped something causing personnel insult but I refrained, you think this is a justified behavior from a moderator??Then he makes a false statement again about my video being just "kill shots" , look at it, is it just kill shots, two forum members hunting over decoys carved by another forum member here, a brilliant dog at work, couldn't be more relevant, why this vendetta against me?? I ask you that. Just because he's moderator you shouldn't unconditionally support his acts.In his vendetta he was also answering posts not even directed at him, why the vitriol??Coming to shooting style for the last time, video don't lie, I shot 4 birds with 6 shots, zero cripples, 2 ducks dead before hitting water, what's wrong with that sight??? Is that not what we want to do?? NJ has a rich water fowling tradition , I'm proud to be here hunting the grounds where so many traditions were born, but don't expect that we should just put our heads down and listen to insults because he's a moderator. We are not a group of pissed off hunters but we just don't like a constant barrage of non sense. Again Eric you be the judge, I not only trust your judgment but also believe that in light of these arguments you'll have better understanding of "our side".Many thanksFarrukh

Im sorry but the donut remark, I dont have to try non alcohloic beer or homosexulaity to know I don't want it, and the unicorn with sunshine are all classic funny, if ya'll werent busy getting mad you'd been laughing your heads off about it. Holy crap, pun intended, that got a little out of hand there.

I thuroughly enjoyed the video, especialy the stovepipe recovery.
If anything was going to set people off i thought it would be the dubstep mix.
Keep posting those videos please!

Just because a person can post criticism doesn't mean they should. Chuck's insistent and persistent criticism was acceptable debate up to the point about "classy". That post was personal. I too would expect the moderator to have a higher standard.
For the record I was in New Jersey once.

Looks like a great hunt. Thanks for sharing your story from your perspective. Would you ever take a mid westerner out sometime? Never tried sea duck hunting but looks like something completely different and I would enjoy hunting with you anytime.

I have no useful opinions on one's use of "this or that" regarding decoys, boats, dogs or shot gunning aids. If it's what you like than good for ya. I do however have a few comments to share about a few other things...
1) I have a lot of respect for the owner, mod, long standing members, newer members as well as us other "drop by members" on this forum. This has always been a place of comfort for me as I also am a member of a few other boards that can be painful to follow.
2) Just because I'm from NJ don't lump me into any perceived negativity associated with this region of the world. I can be, have been and will continue to be an @ss, but I have no dog in this fight so leave me & the state I live in out of it.
3) Uh....... I ran out of things to say so let me finish by wishing everyone a safe remainder of the season and a freezer full of meat.


.....yesterday's hunt out in Mannington Meadow. Just me and Jersey Girl.
