I took the boss and another couple for a 3 mile march through dunes at dawn without seeing any snowy owls today........could be the end of my career as a photo safarii guide ! I did get one shot of a Marsh Hawk that was almost good except that he was going away........

Later I did find a nice bunch of ducks, mostly mallards and there was one duck, a hen I think with a different color bill.........more grey green than orange and I am wondering if it could be a gadwall ?

Thanks Luke - These Marsh Hawks are very interesting to me and they are very shy of people. I doubt they could tackle a duck. Hope to get a good shot of one with the face on one of these days !

Thanks Al - No I could not make the last day of the goose season so it will be camera hunting from here on...........or until the mosquitoes hatch !
