Always a pleasure to see your work David...
Your followups to the Detroit River Canvasback aerial shots were fantastic.....

Nice captures. Great shots of birds in breeding plumage. Can you tell me if that tundra ever dropped the other landing gear?

David~

Spectacular images - a great eye for the beauty and tension. Congratulations on bringing back the "spring shoot"!

All the best,

Thanks guys! That swan was just fine. It was super cold that morning and most birds had the landing gear tucked up in their belly feathers.

PAt Gregory picked the Scaup.....

Now THERE's a shock......

He just appreciated David's attempt to mimic a Van Gilder painting....! Very Nice work, David, always impressive to see the concentrated pulse of spring birds coming through.

Great photos! We need a Spring duck season where you are allowed only 1 or 2 trophy ducks for mounting purposes. I've been seeing B.W. Teal lately in all their breeding color glory. Sure would like to have one on the wall.
