Hunted last Sunday with Paul and another buddy before he had to head back to Jolly old England. Paul and I had a great time and look forward to getting back together some day for another hunt, the only bird not collected that was on Paul's wish list was a drake Buffie.

Mid week I headed to the coast and was able to collect 2 Brant over the decoy I got from Bob Hayden last year, we then switched gears and did a quick sea duck hunt the next day.

After getting home and doing a day of scouting, Hunter,Myself and a couple buddies hit a spot Saturday for divers and widgeon. I shot my 2 redheads and can with my new side by side.

Dang, Fred! Those birds are beautiful. Heads like baseballs and amazing color. Paul's hunting back across the pond is ruined for all time now.

Fantastic glad you guys got some great sport. Thank you Fred was a real highlight in my sporting experiences. That can is a real boxer.

What memories to have to think about until next duck season. Glad you and Paul did so well. Those divers are magnificent. Knowing that you are retired, I'm assuming that you will take advantage of this last week. Good luck, Fred.

Dang Fred! Your pictures are killing me! Congrats to you and Paul. I appreciate you showing our overseas member some good old American Hospitality! Pat

Thanks Guys, Shermie I roast the better birds and skin out the others taking the breast and leg meat for smoking or jerkey We eat them about as fast as we shoot them, nothing better than smoked duck in the boat!!

BTW in my decoy spread this season I have been floating birds from DB.NET members and other carvers,, Hank Yorke, Mark Vanderhoof, Jason Russell, Derek Zumwalt, & Mark Rongers. Also have birds from Bobby Jobes and several other carvers.
