I am thankful that I slept late because I sat till dark deer hunting last night. I am thankful I have a small walk in spot close to home on a friends property. I am thankful that the Fed Ex truck showed yesterday with a big box from Mack's. I am thankful for a Drake Mallard that bought the calling I was doing hook line and sinker. I am thankful that we have been shooing at the skeet field all fall. I am thankful for a dog that has been all over it this year and is peaking right at prime time.
I am thankful John B smoked his chance this morning.

What a sunrise, and we only had to get up at 5:30 to make the spot.

Way to go John B!!!!

Bob, Jim and I hit the River this morning and there was nothing in the air. No shooting but a beautiful morning none the less. Headed to turkey dinner with Alex and family this afternoon.

Happy Thanksgiving and I see mallard on the menu at the Butler house..
