That this morning,

at 10 minutes until legal,

I pressed the button on the remote for my Mojo,

the wings spun,

the mojo began to lean....

I quickly pressed the button again to save it,

but to no avail.

It leaned some more,

The mojo reached the surface of the water and paused,

Momentarily,

Then sank.

I fished it out an hour later

I attempted to remove the mojo from it's pole,

And snapped off the mounting protuberance

The End

Even with the overall disdain for mojo's on DHBP, having one's "mounting protuberance" snapped off sounds like a horrible way to go!

At least you had the good sense to wait an hour before fishing it out. A more likely scenario would be to go out and pick it up immediately, only to look up and get caught in the act by a flock of birds with their wings cupped which promptly flare and are never seen again.

That is one of the more disturbing statements I have read on this site in a while. It sends shivers down my spine. LOL I have had a mojo go for a swim before. It isn't what you want to see happen when you are sitting in the blind. On a side note, I hunted over a spinning wing decoy only once this year and it certainly wasn't one of my better outings. I am not sure those things are worth the trouble.

I can picture that whole event taking place.

No Al, it was funnier than that!!!

In retrospect anyway. Between that and the two groups of guys that encroached less than 100 yds on either side of me, at the time it was quite upsetting.

Jim, that sound you hear in the background is me giggling my ass off. I'm glad I'm not the only one here thats not afraid to tell the the "oops" stories.
