Tohatsu vs Suzuki

I'm not sure if they said it already, but the Suzuki, Mercury, and Tohatsu 20 hp motors are all essentially the same except for branding and some features. I upgraded from a 2 stroke 15 hp Mercury to the 20 hp Suzuki this past season and can assure you that you will not be disappointed. The maintenance is a breeze and the motor feels like it punches above its weight class.

Suzuki is only manufacturer still building their own small motors. Tohatzu builds Mercurys small motors and previously Yamahas
