What's on your WORK BENCH ? - January 2020

Thanks Steve. Do you have any opinion on Tung Oil vs Poly for a final polish coat over the stain on the stock?

I have used Tru-Oil Gunstock Finish (I think). Several coats, most of which get removed between coats with either super-fine steel wool or ScotchBrite pad. I am sure there are others here with much more experience than I.

I once had a Mossberg 640 K .22 mag that had the same problem . It seemed like the plastic
grip/triggerguard had shrunk and straightened so it didn't fit the curvature of the grip. I made a replacement out of steel bar stock, using drill press, hacksaw and files.
