Wildfowl Article

This past winter I had submitted an article to Wildfowl magazine for the Boats and Blinds column by Mike Marsh. Lo and behold it got published and is in the August equipment issue. My original manuscript had numerous mentions of duckboats.net which were apparently censored, save one. Also in this month's issue is a great article by Worth Mathewson on 4,8,10 bore shotguns and his trip to Ireland using punt guns.

That's fantastic. Congratulations. Thanks for the mentions. I know Ducks Unlimited mentioned us once but I don't specifically remember Wildfowl ever doing so. I'm going to get my hands on a copy.

Funny, Mike Marsh is a Wilmington NC guy.
During the interview process, I had the pleasure of talking with Mike Marsh for close to two hours. We had a wonderful conversation and you just knew this is a guy who has a penchant for telling stories. Unfortunately, Wildfowl magazine is considering ending Mike Marsh's Boats and Blinds column. Hopefully enough people twist the arm of Editor-in-chief Ryan Barnes to get him to reconsider.

Mike used to write for the local paper before going freelance. I always liked his stuff.

I haven't bought one of these in a long time, but since you are now a published author, I'll have to go pick one up. Congrats and I hope you find the 5 copies for your mother.

Now I just have to find five copies for my mother!
Cool to have an article published. Curious....whether for Mom or just as your own keepsakes, you couldn't get copies from the publisher?
