Don't feel too bad for him Rick. Phil didn't even work a full week. Bet that made a good impression with his new employer. Hard to get good help these days. :>) :>)

Not me Phil I'm glad its over. It was a very busy season for us here on the east end of Long Island. 278 geese all Canadas 1 Crackling , gave him to Keith Mueller. I'm thru with the Stuffers for next year 138 new. Sea Ducks were tough, the weather killed me 202 was the total. Next year should be a little different. I was given a 24' Aquasport it should make a helluva Duck Boat. A lot of work ahead of me there and I've got to work with Cindy. All that while I'm trying to catch a fish.

Thus the reason I took up ice fishing. Something to do, makes the winter fly by, and you catch some tasty fish occassionaly. Not near the same thrill as duck hunting but it is great way to kill some time rather than working on the honey do list or watching the boob tube.

Heck in MN you need that fish house, man cave, you tow out onto the lake and spend the night in it...catch perch and northerns in the day and walleyes at night.

My one brother in law from the Canby MN area had one with bunks that slept 5 guys. On occasion all the men in the family would all go spend the weekend catching fish, playing cards, smoking cigars, and so forth....

Good times at 20 below..

Matt
