As the years go by, I find myself much more involved with decoys and boats than actual hunting. As many know, I have been working on molding and decoy making for awhile. I have some 50+ heads and over 25 bodies molded or in the process of molding. I satisfy my creative itch by making decoys for myself, family and others. I also have been providing components and making custom molds for carvers and others. All of this supports my duck habit and allows me off the budget freedom to aquire more boats, decoys, and such. I consign some decoys to the Tilgman Island Country Store, which is owned by John Bourbon's sister and BIL. He and I have some shelf space there for the tourists, locals and hunters to aquire a keepsake.
Early on, while molding heads, I made a couple 1/2 molds, a place to use the residual material that is inevidible with each mix. John has been turning these into "refrigerator magnets". The Feather Lite material I prefer for heads, has a shelf life, that once I open the kit, I like to use it up within the week. As a result, I always have some "extra" heads cast.
So the other day, I had a thought..... and went right to Amazon!

Not an original idea I know, but another way to keep me busy, and add something new to the shelves at TICS (Tilgman Island Country Store)!
I think they will be good gifts too. Anything to make a buck when I glide into retirement in a few years.....
