I love this show and I love that they believe in Jesus Christ, love duck hunting and promote family. Sure it may be scripted at times but it is clean funny humor and that on TV is as rare as a ruby throated humming bird in ND around Christmas.
Man there are some bigoted waterfowl...
I run a 70hp 2 stroke on mine and it goes well. 30 mph on flat water with probably 800lbs of guys gear and dogs.
With a flat transom you'll need some shims to get the motor trimmed properly and avoid porpusing. I can never get pictures to work on here. Here is another thread with info in it...
Have you tried putting the dog food in 3 or 4 ice cube trays? The kibbles will be more work to get out of the individual slots. After a few weeks some food can be placed in a bowl and some still in the trays. Your dog may never be a casual eater but this should get them to slow down and stop...
I can park a 4 wheeler between the console and front deck and easily run 3-4 guys, gear and a couple dogs with no problem getting on plane. It is a great boat. This summer I am going to build a rack/bunks from the bow to the front of the console for a 1 man hercules layout. If any of you ever...
Great boat! I have one and love it. I have a 2-stroke 70 Yamaha on it. I have added 2 sets of Transome wedges to keep the boat from porpoising. I have added 2 lb foam to the floor for flotation and have a center console rather than a tiller.
I'll round up some pictures of how it is set up...
Great Link Paul!
if you guys think that bandsaw is big here are some photos from the band saw being restored at Itasca State Park at the Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers Village. I believe it came from the Cass Lake MN area. The building houses the steam engine to power the band saw, it is...
Bill you are so correct!
I think that statement can be readily applied to most in our society when they want to do about anything. "why should I do it when I can pay someone else to do it for me" is a very common sentiment.
I cant/wont tell you where to go, when to go, what to bring and who to talk to. I live in ND and I am telling you that if you drive 15 hours to get here drive an extra hour or two to hunt Manitoba or Saskatchewan. I am a firm believer that if you want to do something, just do it. You are going...
