We have a chocolate lab who is really dark brown, almost black. Named him Porter, after the beer.

Congrats! Great story. I have a lot of turkey around in my area but haven't tried hunting them yet. This time of year is my busiest with work. One of these years I'll put in for a permit and start chasing them.

Great end to the season. Every year I say I'm going to get out on the bay side and start exploring but never do. Stories of pintail and widgeon may be enough to motivate me next year. I still haven't had a shot at either in the coastal zone.
