    Spread Opinions

Bills are much less aggressive than Cans, as well as the obvious size/weight difference, so un-like Widgeon the Bills aren't going to mix it up with the Cans when foraging for food. They are more likely to stay down wind and pick-up any floating remnants from the feeding Cans. We position Cans...

    Alumacraft Ducker Question...

Charles I built a slatted panel to fit in my Ducker. I like it because it keeps me our of the water that collects in the bottom and distributes the weight of my footfalls. I used 1x Red Cedar. I placed cross slats in front of each of the aluminum ribs in the bottom of the Ducker, then I...

    Breakfast In the Blind

Breakfast Burritos are a popular choice in my hunting group. Make them up ahead of time, wrap in foil, freeze, heat using a skillet and camping stove, serve and eat. Simple, neat, and delicious. Decoy Killers...

Nice lively subject.... Having a decoy you worked hard to make or acquire get shot is frustrating when it happens and when you have to fix them. In between those points in time however, are hours of great amusement at the expense of the shooter. One of the reasons I hunt cork and wood decoys is...

    dog kennel run recomendation

Bob here's another idea. Menards sells prefab panels that join together to create a kennel. Three sides and a gate panel. I believe they are 5' sides. I had one set up in my garage for years...worked great.

    any pheasant run pics?

Hi Steve The video is good, but nothing like seeing them in person. Yes the birds on display were from private collections. Ken Cole probably had 40 birds from his hunting rig displayed there. The only power tool Marty uses is a bandsaw and he doesn't use sandpaper....blows my mind...
