My drawing skills are terrible, I'm looking for some easy painting projects for my son this summer, he's 9. I might try to use them for an activity at a youth event my DU...

    What's on your Workbench - JUNE 2023

Thanks Steve, This morning my son asked about do his silo and we came across a different pattern that he liked instead of the butterball. So we did a hooded merganser instead, he did probably 95% of the work himself including the cutting on the bandsaw. If anyone has any other silhouette or...

    What's on your Workbench - JUNE 2023

I made this little silhouette for a friend of mine that recently purchased a house. I used one of the patterns Carl Ferraro posted years ago on Y/V-Board thread. First attempt at any decoy or duck art of any kind, I'll be making more, as my 9 yr old son saw it on the bench and wants me to cut...

    Importing a shotgun from Canada....

Steve, just my thoughts, but since you are in Kentucky try contacting Buds Gun Shop in Louisville and see if they can do the importing for you. As a large online gun dealer I would suspect they import guns. I could be wrong, as I have no affiliation with them. Just a thought.

    Offseason wader storage solutions...

Kyle, like many have already mentioned mine tend to stay on my wader dryer or folded nicely in a wader bag stored in the crawl space. Also i remember the last new pair of waders I bought mentioned coating the rubber boot with armor all to help keep the boots from cracking when storing. I've done...

    Any Suggestions for Lady's shotgun?

Andy, I know you are interested in an o/u, but if you do consider a pump, consider Winchester's 1300 Ranger Youth not only does it have a shorter butt stock but they actually move the forend grip back about an 1.5". I bought that and a Browning gold hunter 20 ga. for a lady once. It should...

    Game Strap

Eric, I have a para cord game strap by heavy hauler and I tend to lose ducks walking out. I think the problem lies in the knot on the ring, it's too big. My picture file is too big, so if you want a picture of it send me a message and I'll send it to you.

    DRAKE LST Wader Update

Mike, I had to buy an extra of waders last year down in Arkansas, and initially thought I wanted the Drakes. After trying them on in the store and experiencing some of the issues you noted, I decided against them. The two guys in the store told me that almost all of the Drakes they sold came...
