I just voted and had to smile when I submitted the ballot. Now I'm waiting at the train station to pick up my wife to run her to vote with a few minutes to go. Each vote counts.

Thanks guys for your input. I like the idea of using a deck plate or inspection cover. I'm open to any other suggestions. I'll let you know how I make out.

I have an 89 14 classic which is in great shape except that it 's a little heavy in the rear. I haven't opened it up yet but it seems the rear flotation foam is wet and needs to be replaced. I put a moisture meter on it and it buried it. I would like some advice on how to open up the sections...

Dani, I would negotiate with the seller of the house to have it cleaned up prior to closing or have money put aside at closing to clean it up. That's how we would do it in New York.

Rich, I got them from Yardley Products in Pa. I called and spoke to a salesman and he sent me a "sample" of the press in inserts.

Rich, I had to replace the rails on my 14 TDB. I found the best way to do this was to use stainless threaded inserts. The one problem I had to overcome with the TDB was that half the screws went into areas i couldn't get to because of the floatations areas of the boat. The inserts went in easy...
