I know there are a couple guys here who use them on their decoys so I figured it would be a good place to ask for recommendations.
Just to let you know this will not be used much on decoys. I paint some fishing lures, I like to do some camouflaging of small items and maybe a little painting of decoys or wood carvings. I have a cheap little thing now that is fine if I only want to cover a large area or use stencils. While I still mostly want it to cover areas nice and evenly I'd like one that will at least be OK painting some finer details.
I mostly use acrylics, I'm not a big fan of solvents for clean up.
So is a single action like the Paasche H good enough for basic painting or is a double action more useful? Internal or external mixing? Tip sizes? I'd like to get only what I need not a lot more then I need.
I already have a Silentaire compressor, cheap deal at Hobby Lobby some time ago. It's not adjustable so can a regulator be added to turn down the pressure some if I need to?
Thanks,
Tim
