Another NDR post - Zodi Tent Heater

I am looking for a Zodi Tent Heater. These have been discontinued for some time but I have a project where this would be a great start. ANyone have an old one sitting around they want to get rid of or know where one can be found? Or experience with them or ever taken one apart to see how hey work?

Yep, this is what I'm looking for. Unfortunately Zodi stopped producing these some time back. Heard it was due to safety concerns with the 12V battery running out of power which then caused the fan to not run which caused parts to melt and catch fire.

I found one near me and am on my way to buy it to see how it works. I have a great plan to solve the fan problem.

I've been reading a lot about Diesel tent heaters lately. Seen people using these in everything from diy campers, tents, RVs, duck blinds. Might be something to look into.

It was on the radar. They used to be quite expensive but not so much anymore. Diesel has some disadvantages that I don't like. Mostly having to deal with the fuel and putting this slim anyones car.
