Feeling blessed

A couple days ago I was blessed with my first great-grandchild. All 6lbs 13 ounces of pure boy. I have already offered to take him out in the boat whenever they need a babysitter. I am so happy for my granddaughter, Brianna and her husband, Jake.

It is indeed. We received the news and were able to go over for a visit. Before we left, I told my granddaughter that she was just going to have to keep him, as they had already exceeded the "return by" date. She seemed OK with that and so are we.
