Chris - Good looking Buffy Hen. Looks like you are putting it all together these days. One of your best for sure.

Roy - That Goose has the most pleasing shape I've seen you put out. Nice decoy.

Bender - Love the BW. The coots would serve me well over on Winnebago. Just coots and comorants somedays...

MLBob - One the most incredible decoys I've ever seen...EVER.

You have a been a busy guy ,Pat . Nice rig. That Goose is my first Canada. Its a bird for my wood supplier. I trade him decoys...he trades me cedar :D

Quite a while back, Willy made me a deal too good to refuse on a sheet of cork that measured 8 3/4" thick. Been using stock I had that was 3' & 4" thick and avoiding this extra large slab of cork, but this afternoon I finally decided to set up the bandsaw & roller table and cut it to the slabs & thicknesses I wanted. Man, that was a heavy slab!

Lest you think we kid you about the cutting capabilities of 4 TPI blades, here's pictorial proof of how well a little 3/8" wide, 4 TPI, hook tooth blade cuts if it's properly set up and tensioned. Again, that cork is 8 3/4" thick, and that little blade cut through tracking straight as an arrow. I was surprised at just how fast I was able to feed the material through.

Small but mighty Bob! They're like little gators... 8 3/4? Might we see some full bodied Furia ducks? Field decoys maybe? A Furia goose perhaps?

I hope you and your family are well. Thanks for sharing and God bless! Pat

17 completed, 2 in paint, 2 carved, 4 left to carve out and seal in the next two days and get base coated. Hope to get the bases all put together today and be able to ship the lot around the fourth of July. Simple gunning white wings

Tom,

Nice bird,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, more importantly, What's the boat doing opened up? You been out fishing? Come on spill the beans.

boat has seen some moisture this past week. Unfortunately for the boat the gills we are on right now are shore fishing access only. Send the girls with the grandparents tomorrow for a trip to the Zoo. I am going to go get some bait and try to stock the freezer a little.

My Dad and I got to fish together three out of the last five days together. He still can catch them and I still can beat him haha

big lake water needs to warm up and clear up a little and put the crappie in summer pattern and I will be getting the boat wet a lot.

Tom, Nice going on both accounts. Doves look great and there's not much better eating than a mess of fresh B-gills.

As most of you know my main focus has been finishing up the workshop, but I took some time this month to honor a special commitment I made awhile back.

This is the first pair of Ducks to come out of the new shop, they were made as a gift for a recent high school graduate from his dad to add to his puddle duck rig and start his collection.

It always means alot to me to be able to make decoys that have a special meaning and these were no exception.

my workbench is on my workbench
This system with the vice and powerarm with the vice raised up gives me a ton of options when working on different projects

Jode,
Been waiting for the day when you would post up again. Must feel great to be able to make a couple decoys again and those two decoys are top notch in every respect.

George~

Wonderful work!

I'm amazed at all you guys who pump out these big rigs. Gorgeous paint on all of the birds.

All the best,

SJS
