The first day of our season was an absolute zoo. I had a friend ride along with me, went out an hour and a half earlier than normal, still boats everywhere. Needless to say, we didn't shoot a thing. Next day {Sunday}, I slept late, sat around and had coffee with my wife, did a few chores around the house, and basically called the first weekend a loss. About noon I couldn't stand the suspense. I hooked my boat up to the car, loaded my chessie Diesel up and headed off to lake Okeechobee. As I was running out I saw a few nice bunches of ringers getting up. I found a nice spot to hide, threw out a few decoys, and had a limit of ringers and bluebills in an hour or so. This was Diesels first duck of the season. Diesel likes guns a lot more than cameras, thus the shy look on his face. All in all a great afternoon hunt. Quiet, no crowds at the ramp almost had the whole place to myself, Just don't get no better than this! Rich
