I always enjoy trying new things.

This month I just finished up some hummingbirds for a friend.

A male ruby throat and a female Rufous. And the flowers are carved wood as well.

I was gifted a beautiful walnut slab from a neighbor down the road. Over the next few weeks I need to turn this into our mantle piece for the new house. The plan is just a natural tung oil finish. The natural wavy grain in this slab of walnut is gorgeous.
