I know this place is supposed to be a wealth of "all things duck hunting" knowledge (and it is), but it's a real shame there is no meme thread. I aim to remedy that. Post 'em up here.

REALLY!! Thats a little surprising with what they let fly there. I was kicked as well, but for other reasons. This place is WAAAAYYYYYYYY better. But it just goes to show you if they start to dislike you, they rid of you. My thoughts on "Memes" in general. I don't mind memes if that is the content which I am seeking. Sometimes I will set down and watch a comedian on the internet, just because I wish to be entertained. Memes can be great entertainment. Memes can also have subtle influences on us.
My thoughts on memes on Duckboats.net; I don't care for it. It's not the content which I come here for. Have I ever shared a meme in the years I been here? I expect I have, yet most likely, duck or dog related and not on a regular basis
Some will say, "don't click on the thread" "ignore the memes".
My response to that is, "hard to ignore something which I am paying for". A meme site, is something I personally would not choose to support. Even if I choose to never open a meme thread or look in a meme subforum, my financial contributions as well as my time contributions, are still paying for and supporting those memes. Photos are much more costly than text. I understand that and accept that as part of what makes up this site. Personal, shared, photos of duck boats, duck boat builds, even off topic photos of our lives in general, is all welcome and expected.
This is what I personally come here for. If I can share my experiences with like minded folks, if I can share my knowledge with like minded folks, I can get behind that with my time and support. This is just my 2 cent's worth. Thank you for listening.

I see that this started a month ago and has 18 reply's and couple thousand views. I think that speaks loudly to me. To be honest I only opened this because I saw Huntindave posted. Was curious to see what he posted.
I used to be addicted to memes on a couple other sites but got burned out and won't fall into that trap again. Yep I won't be opening this again. My choice.
