Many thanks to Steve Sanford for providing me with advice on painting. This is my first ever drake Mallard, done on a Herter's decoy is reconditioned. Now to just carve a few out of cork and do some painting. I am still working on a hen BWT and some hen mallards, applying the advice i recieved from Mr. Sanford.

Watching this post gave me the itch to start another black/mallard. Been a while. Have a buddy coming over tomorrow to carve.
