SOCIAL MEDIA WARNING LABEL

As long as you film the crash out and post it so we can monitor the levels of suicidal ideation. Only then will a select trained few, within here, determine if the hotline will need to be contacted. Of course the video gets shown to everyone though.... we all need good laughs.

Seeing as how text-only warnings are largely ignored to have any chance of being effective a graphic message is needed. So I ask what is a good graphic for a social media warning? Maybe a kid with a cell phone in one hand with a gun pointed at their own head in the other.

needle in the arm with the syringe loaded to the brim with a social media liquid. Could even have the FB spoon and instagram lighter sitting there in the pic somewhere as well.

Small tweak--a nail gun. Or perhaps a drill press or a clenching hammer? Slicing wrists with a hand plane? Asphyxiation with a "bag" of peel-ply? Maybe the gun could be a breech loading punt gun? Love the B. Ballard doodle idea, if he's willing. Perhaps a new T shirt or Hoodie!

Chapelle’s Moaning chair. Every shop needs one. Maybe a ongoing thread topic. Show us your worst mistake and learn from it.

Luckily with wooden boats we can burn the evidence.

I first saw this in Dave Southard's boatshop (in Babylon, South Shore of LI). Maybe it explains why I've yet to build a vessel from actual plans.....

I suppose it should be updated with electric plane and a cordless drill or two.....

All the best,
