Dry Fly Distilling in Spokane, WA makes a good single malt Wheat Whiskey! I helped bottle, package, and stack a few pallets this winter for a free shirt, hat, and samples!!!

I got a few more foamers roughed out real quick. After I attach the heads I will layout and mark the eye channels, flanks, wings, etc... and then finish carving and sanding 'til they look pretty. I've already made a Can, and liked how it turned out so now I will attempt a Redhead, Scaup, and GE!
I LOVE these pics Al!!! The wigeon is also one of my favorites! They are beautiful! There are a ton of them around up here but they can be difficult to decoy and not too many people hunt for them. Too many guys that only want to shoot "greenheads" and or geese. Boring.
I know the devlin site states 15hp as the max for a broadbill, but the plans I got for mine just last summer state 10hp max, which, I'm assuming is what it was rated for when the plans were first designed? Either way, I would not even consider anything over a 15hp 2-stroke! I personally have a...
I'm with Tom Scholberg on this one! The Vikes aren't in it so I really don't care! I don't care too much for Roethlisberger or the Steelers though, so I hate to say, I hope Green Bay wins.
I feel for you Eric! Dogs are amazing family members and it sounds like you had a great, beautiful, loving girl!!! You have been blessed! Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this hard time!
Acrylpro (used in the burlap process) tile adhesive works to fill dings and dents too and is probably cheaper than bondo. I ran my molded decoy over with the boat and dinged his head. I filled the ding with Acrylpro and sanded it down smooth after it dried and then painted back over it and...
Cas,
the hot-wire cutter started out with a piece of bailing wire from stitching my boat and a 12v battery charger, but has since been changed to a thin piece of NiChrome wire from the hobby store and a RadioShack 1.5amp 12volt power supply and it works great! I just traced the top and side...
I also have the same goal as you James!
I have purchased a mold and poured two bodies and heads and have recently attempted carving foam by hand also. I have a long ways to go, but, I'm having a BLAST!
Here's what I have done so far:
I think I heard you guys shooting from my house! There were a lot of birds flying up and down the lake yesterday morning. I think I'm gonna try and go down there tomorrow.
Thanks Dennis and Andy.
Dennis, I haven't given up on molding at all. I just wanted to try my hand at carving and I had some foam laying around so why not? I would like to make a few of each diver species by hand and then mold a whole bunch too! Who know, maybe I'll be carving wood someday...
