The weather has been weird over here this year too John. We've had the driest December on record. No 50's like you're having, but no precip and above average temps. It's going to be an awfully brown Christmas this year, and I'm less than 2 hours from the Canadian border!

Hey Carl, do you prefer the dehydrator to a smoker for jerky? I've always just used my little chief electric smoker to make mine, but a dehydrator seems a lot more convenient. It takes me 12 hours to dry out my jerky, with 3-4 pans of chips to start.
