    Titebond III question

Titebond 3likes to run. It's much stronger than 2, and is waterproof or near it I think. I use good old yellow titebond 1 for furniture and stuff that will never see water. Anythingt that will ever see moisture gets 3. I can't see a real good use for 2 anymore. I came to this conclusion after...

Watch out when your lowering the jack plate, and tilting the motor up.. Its easy to bend a 600 dollar hyrdaulic steering system on your transom cut out if your not careful. Don't ask me how I know this.

    River ox boats

Does anybody have any info or experience with them. I'm looking at I think a 15 or 16 footer. My understanding is they were produced by seaox. Seaox has a reputation for being good boats, the older ones at least. It's a sweet little rig but I'd like to know a bit more about it. Not much comes up...

    Anyone use a spotting scope?

Its been my experience that 12x, unless on a tripod are hard to keep steady. The 10x42 are the battle horses of optics. Thats why every optics company makes them, and i would venture a guess that nearly all hunters that do any serious amount of glassing own at least one pair. I ordered my...

    Anyone use a spotting scope?

To answer your question I do use a spotting scope, but it's mostly before or after the season to watch ducks with. I enjoy having an up lose image of them, that's my biggest use for a spotting scope on ducks. Good luck

    Anyone use a spotting scope?

I cut my teeth hunting out west, packing in for days and doing nothing but glassing for most of it. Iv spent plenty of time behind and around optics, good bad, ugly and total junk. In my humble opinion, you should really consider a look at vortex optics http://www.vortexoptics.com/ They are far...

    Real Names & Identity Theft

Who got it right? The fuge was infinitley more popular than this one. The downfall was caused by corporate overlords trying to fix something that wasn't broken. What your implying, I think, is incorrect. It's apples to oranges, the fuge offered something this site does not. Both are great in...

I can't seem to find the exact website, thought I had it bookmarked, but there are some guys in Florida that push pole the flats that use fiberglass kite poles. I seem to remember them being like $50 for a 10 or 12 shot of it.

    Question about decoy sleds

Iv floated a bit under 200lbs in mine. Friend of mine sat in it and we toted him around. It was very tippy, and there wasn't but an inch or two of freeboard. Still though, those things will haul some weight.
