2025 Devlin Snow Goose Thread

Thanks, though I can't really take credit. Pretty sure Tod did something similar. But I do a stunning job of copying good ideas.
That Tod IS a smart guy. One question I always wanted to ask is how you planned your interior layout. Just a compilation of good ideas from factory boats?

Not sure I want to go that far, but he is at least smarter than most of the rest of us. Not sure a bunch of guys who choose to get up at o'dark-thirty to brave freezing weather for the possibility of a few ounces of duck meat set the bar real high, though.

As to interior layout, a combination of reading everything I can here on what worked/didn't work for others and trying to think through how I work best. I'm certain there will be things I wish I'd done differently once I finish (and I'm still tweaking here and there), but I'm increasingly confident it will work for me. And I know who to blame when it doesn't.

Halfway or better, your workmanship is great. I would think one more solid push and you'll be on the home stretch. (y)

You are right on both counts, he may very well be better than halfway, maybe 9/16 even and yes that is some great workmanship. I believe that will be the nicest built and most customized Devlin duckboat we have seen.
